Kartmae is built by two brothers from Mussoorie — to fill the service gaps in the hill station and make life easier for locals and tourists alike.
Our story
It started with a breakdown.
One day, we were far from Mussoorie when our vehicle broke down on the road. There was no mechanic in sight. No restaurant nearby. No easy way to ask for help. We sat on the side of the road for hours, waiting.
That's when it hit us. If two locals — who know these roads — could be stuck like this, what about the tourists who come up every weekend? What about the family in a homestay who can't find a working pharmacy at 9pm? What about the rider whose scooty won't start outside Char Dukan?
So we decided to build a platform. One place for everything anyone might need in Mussoorie — groceries, food, a scooty, a hotel, a taxi, a mechanic. And if it's not in the app, you can just message us and we'll arrange it.
What we're building
Kartmae connects you to verified local partners across Mussoorie — fast, transparent, with prices you see upfront. We started with what we wished existed that day on the road, and kept adding what locals and tourists kept asking for.
